The authors made an analysis of results of surgical treatment of 41 patients who underwent reconstructive large bowel anastomosis by the Hartman procedure. In 19 (46.3%) patients the anastomoses were performed by traditional methods (end-to-end and end-to-side) using a two-row suture.
