Introduction: There are very few studies on the aetiology of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) in childhood. The purpose of the present study is to analyse the data of 61 children diagnosed with TLE, in order to describe the aetiology of TLE in children seen in a neuropaedriatic clinic.
