Background: People with comorbidities are under-represented in randomised controlled trials, and it is unknown whether patterns of comorbidity are similar in trials and the community.

Methods: Individual-level participant data were obtained for 83 clinical trials (54,688 participants) for 16 index conditions from two trial repositories: Yale University Open Data Access (YODA) and the Centre for Global Clinical Research Data (Vivli). Community data (860,177 individuals) were extracted from the Secure Anonymised Information Linkage (SAIL) databank for the same index conditions.

Advances in statistics mean that it is now possible to tackle increasingly sophisticated observation processes. The intricacies and ambitious scale of modern data collection techniques mean that this is now essential. Methodological research to make inference about the biological process while accounting for the observation process has expanded dramatically, but solutions are often presented in field-specific terms, limiting our ability to identify commonalities between methods.

Ti(IV) and Ti(III) complexes using the PCP ligand have been synthesized (PCP = CH-2,6-(CHPBu)). The [PCP]Li synthon can be reacted with TiCl(THF) to form (PCP)TiCl () in limited yields due to significant reduction of the titanium synthon. The Ti(III) complex (PCP)TiCl () has been further characterized.

The 'POCOP' pincer ligand, [2,6-(OPR)CH], has been attached to titanium in both Ti(III) and Ti(IV) complexes for the first time. Using a lithium-halogen exchange route [2,6-(OPR)CH]Li ([RPOCOP]Li) can be synthesised. Both the -propyl and -butyl derivatives can be made, but only the latter isolated.

Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic performance and feasibility of rapid antigen testing for SARS-CoV-2 detection in low-income communities.

Design: We conducted a cross-sectional community-based diagnostic accuracy study. Community health workers, who were trained and supervised by medical technicians, performed rapid antigen tests on symptomatic individuals, and up to two additional household members in their households and diagnostic results were calibrated against the gold standard RT-PCR.
