Pancreatic solid serous cystadenoma: a rare entity that can lead to a futile surgery.

Although many types of pancreatic tumors exist, pancreatic solid serous cystadenoma stand as the most rare. Despite advances in medical imaging, definitive diagnosis remains complex. Here, we report a case of a 63-year-old man with a suspicious lesion of the pancreas discovered during a positron emission tomography-computed tomography.

Primary anorectal melanoma-a rare entity: case report.

Anorectal melanoma is a rare disorder. There have only been a few cases reported and there is no consensus of treatment. We report a case of 50-year-old Caucasian man presenting intermittent prolapse of an anorectal mass during 6 months with occasional bleeding.

Splenogonadal fusion: a case report.

Splenogonodal fusion is a rare congenital abnormality. We present the case of a continuous splenogonadal fusion diagnosed in the course of a laparoscopy for left non-palpable testis in a 1-year-old boy. This case illustrates that even though testicular salvage is the recommended approach, various anatomical features might preclude conservation.

Synchronous abdominal and thoracic solitary fibrous tumour: a case report.

Solitary fibrous tumours (SFT), described for the first time by Klemperer and Rabin in 1931, are uncommon mesenchymal tumours that have been known to mainly affect the pleura and mediastinum. More recently, solitary fibrous tumours affecting other anatomical sites are being increasingly reported. Clinically, these tumours are asymptomatic and are discovered incidentally.
