Background: The FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data principles are a guideline to improve the reusability of data. However, properly implementing these principles is challenging due to a wide range of barriers.
Objectives: To further the field of FAIR data, this study aimed to systematically identify barriers regarding implementing the FAIR principles in the area of child and adolescent mental health research, define the most challenging barriers, and provide recommendations for these barriers.

Purpose: To (1) investigate the hypothesis that there is high variability in the reported methods to derive axes and joint orientations from three-dimensional (3D) bone models to (a) perform 3D knee-related leg alignment analysis and (b) define coordinate systems for the femur, tibia and leg and (2) identify underlying principles that might lead to agreement on a universal 3D leg alignment analysis framework.
Methods: A systematic review of the literature between January 2006 and June 2024 was performed. Articles explicitly reporting methods to derive axes and joint orientations from CT-based 3D bone models for alignment parameters and/or coordinate systems of the femur, tibia and leg were included.
Objective: The aim of the current study was to investigate the use of manually and automatically switching programs in everyday day life by adult cochlear implant (CI) users.
Design: Participants were fitted with an automatically switching sound processor setting and 2 manual programs for 3-week study periods. They received an extensive counselling session.
Purpose: To investigate the simultaneous effect of 3-dimensional (3D) hinge axis (HA) orientation on alignment parameters in all 3 anatomical planes in high tibial osteotomy.
Methods: A computed tomography-based 3D model of a human tibia/fibula was used to establish a 3D tibial coordinate system based on the tibial mechanical axis. In here, an HA was positioned and an opening-wedge high tibial osteotomy with a rotation angle of 10° over the HA was simulated.

Symptomatic malunion of the wrist is one of the most common posttraumatic wrist problems. This study demonstrates three patients with complex malunions of the wrist who benefited from a corrective osteotomy using preplanned 3D-printed patient-specific guides, by experiencing improvement in their wrist function, grip strength and a reduction in pain.
