The interplay between magnetic frustration and pairing is investigated by adopting a BCS-like pairing mechanism on the frustratedJ1-J2Ising model on the square lattice. The ground-state and thermal phase transitions of the model are analyzed using a fermionic formulation within a CMF method. In this approach, the lattice system is divided into identical clusters, where the intracluster dynamic is exactly solved, and the intercluster interactions are replaced by self-consistent mean fields.

Adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) is a rare condition in dogs. This type of tumor can be functional, hormone-producing, or nonfunctional. Bilateral adrenal tumors are uncommon, whereas unilateral adrenal tumors are more prevalent.

We investigate thermal and quantum phase transitions of the J_{1}-J_{2}-J_{3} transverse Ising model on the square lattice. The model is studied within a cluster mean-field decoupling, which allows us to describe phase diagrams and the free-energy landscape in the neighborhood of phase transitions. Our findings indicate that the third-neighbor coupling (J_{3}) can affect the nature of phase transitions of the model.

The planning of adequately powered research designs increasingly goes beyond determining a suitable sample size. More challenging scenarios demand simultaneous tuning of multiple design parameter dimensions and can only be addressed using Monte Carlo simulation if no analytical approach is available. In addition, cost considerations, for example, in terms of monetary costs, are a relevant target for optimization.
