In the current health context, there is a widespread increase in chronic non-communicable diseases that predominantly affect the cardiovascular system. Recent epidemiological data in Brazil indicate a rise in these diseases, which can result in severe harm to patients, including death. This study aims to present a study protocol to evaluate the effect of music in reducing anxiety and stress in patients undergoing coronary angioplasty.

- Researchers developed an artificial intelligence (AI) model using convolutional neural networks (CNN) to automatically detect various types of pleomorphic lesions from a large dataset of CE images, evaluating its performance against expert classifications.
- The AI model demonstrated high diagnostic accuracy across different areas of the GI tract, with the best results being 96.6% accuracy for gastric lesions and 97.6% for small bowel lesions, suggesting that AI tools could significantly enhance the effectiveness of capsule panendoscopy.
In plantations, coppice rotations often yield less than initial rotations. The TECHS project (Tolerance of Clones to Hydric, Thermal and Biotic Stresses) studied short rotation coppicing across a 3000 km gradient. The main objective of this work was to compare the survival, sprouting, and initial growth of clones managed and to examine factors that might influence the productivity of the coppice rotation: climate, genotypes, and stocking.
