Accurate, sensitive and green HPTLC chromatographic method was proposed for simultaneous determination of metformin, glipizide and sitagliptin in the presence of metformin potential toxic impurities melamine and cyanoguanidine. The separation was completed on silica gel HPTLC F254 plates using a mixture of ethyl acetate: methanol: ammonia: formic acid (7: 2: 0.2: 0.

Method: A simple, sensitive, and precise quadruple devisor spectrophotometric method was developed for simultaneous determination of metformin, glipizide, and sitagliptin in the presence of metformin potential impurities melamine and cyanoguanidine. The proposed method was applied for analysis of metformin, glipizide, and sitagliptin in pure form and pharmaceutical formulation (tablets).
Background: Several coronavirus vaccine have been fast-tracked to halt the pandemic, the usage of immune adjuvants that can boost immunological memory has come up to the surface. This is particularly of importance in view of the rates of failure of seroconversion and re-infection after COVID-19 infection, which could make the vaccine role and response debatable. Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs) have an established immune-modulatory role, but their effects as adjuvants to vaccination have not been explored to date.

Patients And Methods: A randomized open-label clinical trial included primigravidae delivered vaginally with episiotomy. Eligible women were recruited and randomized to topical LP cream on the episiotomy line or rectal meloxicam suppository 15 mg.
Background: Oxaliplatin has shown promising activity in metastatic gastric cancer (MGC) and has synergism with 5 fluorouracil. This phase II study was performed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of FOLFOX4 regimen in MGC.
Materials And Methods: Patients with MGC, aged 18-70 years, performance status ≤2, no prior chemotherapy, received FOLFOX4 regimen every 2 weeks as oxaliplatin 85 mg/m 2 IV infusion on day 1 and leucovorin 200 mg/m 2 IV infusion followed by fluorouracil 400 mg/m 2 IV bolus and 600 mg/m 2 22-hour continuous infusion on days 1 and 2.
