Spatial FAP Expression as Detected by Ga-FAPI-46 Identifies Myofibroblasts Beyond the Infarct Scar After Reperfusion.

Purpose: Myocardial infarction (MI) triggers complex cellular responses essential for tissue repair and remodeling, including myofibroblast activation. Fibroblast activation protein alpha (FAP) identifies activated myofibroblasts post-MI, however its spatial distribution relative to the scar and area at risk (AAR) is unclear. Non-invasive FAP-imaging with PET radiotracer  Ga-FAPI-46 shows uptake beyond the infarct scar.

Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths, globally. There is a need for novel biomarkers for early detection and novel, effective targeted therapies. Molecular imaging can faithfully visualize, characterize and quantify specific relevant biological processes.

Tc-MIP-1404 SPECT/CT Companion Diagnostic for Lu-PSMA Therapy in Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer.

Our objective was to determine the feasibility, diagnostic performance, and predictive value of Tc-MIP-1404 SPECT in patients undergoing baseline staging and assessment of eligibility for prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted radiopharmaceutical therapy (RPT) for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. Data of 46 patients undergoing Tc-MIP-1404 planar scintigraphy and SPECT/CT for staging and assessment of eligibility for Lu-PSMA RPT were retrospectively analyzed. Overall image quality was assessed, and images were visually analyzed for the presence and localization of pathologic uptake.

Comparison of global and regional myocardial blood flow quantification using dynamic solid-state detector SPECT and Tc-99 m-sestamibi or Tc-99 m-tetrofosmin in a routine clinical setting.

Solid-state detector single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) enables the acquisition of dynamic data for calculation of myocardial blood flow (MBF) and myocardial flow reserve (MFR). Here, we report about our experiences on routine clinical use and robustness using Tc-99 m-sestamibi and Tc-99 m-tetrofosmin. 307 patients underwent dynamic list-mode myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) and standard static MPI for clinical workup of coronary artery disease on a dedicated cardiac SPECT camera.
