Graft intolerance syndrome (GIS) is a common complication developed in failed kidney allografts left in situ when the patients returned to hemodialysis. GIS usually develops within the first 6 months after immunosuppression has been withdrawn. When medical treatment has failed, transplantectomy is the conventional therapy.

This study establishes the activity of POS and CAS against yeast causing invasive fungal infections.
