[Interest of MR perfusion and MR spectroscopy for the diagnostic of atypical cerebral toxoplasmosis].

We report an atypical case of cerebral toxoplasmosis (CT) in a 70-year-old woman with a history of breast cancer. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography revealed a single ring-enhancing lesion in the pons with perifocal oedema and mass effect. Toxoplasma encephalitis was suggested by means of diffusion weighted imaging, MR perfusion and MR spectroscopy, leading to the discovery of HIV infection.

Reversal sign on ante- and postmortem brain imaging in a newborn: report of one case.

A 16-day-old female newborn was admitted to the emergency department after cardiopulmonary arrest. Total-body radiographs and non-enhanced CT of the brain showed fracture of the right clavicle, pericerebral hemorrhage and brain damage with reversal sign. The infant died on the day of her hospital admission.

Primary sellar melanocytic tumor: report of new case and literature review.

Context: Primary sellar melanocytic tumors are extremely rare, and they can mimic hormonally inactive pituitary macroadenoma both clinically and radiologically.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to describe a new case of primary sellar melanocytic tumor, and place it in the context of published literature.

Design: This is a case report.

Post-mortem changes of the middle ear: multislice computed tomography study.

Six dry skulls were studied by multislice computed tomography (MSCT). They had not previously been prepared, and were natural skeletonized remains. All had been found in the soil.

Objective: To evaluate the antihormonal and antitumour efficacy of long-term (up to 18 years) primary treatment with SSTa in patients with GH-secreting pituitary adenoma responsive to SSTa.

Design: An open, prospective, single-centre, clinical study.
