Background: The function of injectable hyaluronic acid-based fillers is to smooth dermal wrinkles formed during aging. The aim of this study is to evaluate the performance and safety of a dermal filler after its commercialization.
Methods: In this context, an 18-month prospective randomized single-blind study for the efficacy and safety of ART FILLER Fine Lines (AFFL) was performed on the forehead, the upper lip, the cheek folds, and the crow's feet.
Background: Facial nerve palsy is a multifaceted pathology that causes facial disfigurement, affecting eye closure, speech articulation, oral competence, and emotional expression, with functional, aesthetic, and psychological consequences. Standardized electrophysiological tests, such as electroneurography and electromyography, allow an objective evaluation of the functional state of the nerve. Here, we aimed to compare and correlate clinical findings with electromyography in patients with facial nerve palsy, before and after facial nerve reanimation with cross-facial nerve grafts.

Therefore, studies aiming to understand the tolerance of cliff plant species to abiotic stresses are important to predict their long-time persistence or to highlight inherent threats. We used an integrative approach including anatomical, physiological and phenotypic analyses on (a) seeds, (b) cotyledons of seedlings; and (c) young plants to assess whether the cliff species Brassica incana, can tolerate exposure to different seawater (SW: 25%, 50% and 100%) concentrations during the early stages of its life cycle.
