A report is given on a 60 years old male patient with a varying eosinophilia and leucocytosis during a period of 8 years. The patient was suffering from coronary heart disease, which finally was the cause of death. Antibodies against larva migrans universalis were identified with the Ouchterlony technique as well as with the microprecipitation test for living toxocara larva twice within a period of 3 years.
