Text-to-image generation (TTI) refers to the usage of models that could process text input and generate high fidelity images based on text descriptions. Text-to-image generation using neural networks could be traced back to the emergence of Generative Adversial Network (GAN), followed by the autoregressive Transformer. Diffusion models are one prominent type of generative model used for the generation of images through the systematic introduction of noises with repeating steps.

Treatment of extreme premature infants (EPI) is limited by developmental immaturity primarily of the lung. A paradigm shift towards a more physiologic treatment of EPI as fetal neonates or , by keeping them in a womb-like environment to allow continued organ maturation, is the rationale for artificial womb technology. In this review, we discuss the artificial placenta and womb technology, it's rationale, the history of its development, the most recent preclinical models described in the literature and finally pertinent ethical considerations.

Background: Anxiety disorders are among the most prevalent mental health conditions globally, particularly affecting adolescents and young adults (10-24 years), and causing substantial psychological and social impairments. This study analyzed changes in the incidence, prevalence, and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) of anxiety disorders in this age group from 1990 to 2021, emphasizing the impact of socioeconomic disparities and the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly post-2019.

Methods: Utilizing the Global Burden of Disease(GBD) 2021 data from 204 countries, this study evaluated global trends in anxiety disorders among adolescents and young adults.

Our group has developed an extra-uterine environment for newborn development (EXTEND) using an ovine model, that aims to mimic the womb to improve short and long-term health outcomes associated with prematurity. This study's objective was to determine the histologic and transcriptomic consequences of EXTEND on the brain. Histology and RNA-sequencing was conducted on brain tissue from three cohorts of lambs: control pre-term (106-107 days), control late pre-term (127 days), and EXTEND lambs who were born pre-term and supported on EXTEND until late pre-term age (125-128 days).

Oxaliplatin-based therapeutics is a widely used treatment approach for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients; however, drug resistance poses a significant clinical challenge. Epigenetic modifications have been implicated in the development of drug resistance. In our study, employing siRNA library screening, we identified that silencing the mA writer METTL3 significantly enhanced the sensitivity to oxaliplatin in both in vivo and in vitro HCC models.
