  • Out of 403 participants, 59.55% used phytotherapy, often in conjunction with conventional treatments, motivated by its accessibility and perceived effectiveness; education level and socioeconomic status were significant factors influencing usage.
  • The study concluded that individuals with type 2 diabetes in Dschang frequently turn to phytotherapy, particularly those aged 51-60, with lower education and socioeconomic status; further research on its efficacy is recommended.
