Impact of Generalized Pustular Psoriasis from the Perspective of People Living with the Condition: Results of an Online Survey.

Background: Generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP) is a rare disease characterized by episodic worsening (flares). Knowledge of the burden of GPP and the experience of affected individuals is limited.

Aims: To conduct a survey of people living with GPP to understand how they experience GPP flares, which therapies they have received and are receiving, and how GPP impacts their activities of daily living.

The aim of this paper is to contribute to the establishment of a robust framework for the assessment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in businesses, using the construction industry as an example and with the primary focus on combating climate change (SDG 13). We provide a critical analysis of a selection of relatively widely used SDG impact assessment tools, combined with a case study from the construction industry to explore how a meaningful SDG assessment can be framed with linkages between SDG 13 and other related SDGs. Our analysis points towards the importance of framing SDG assessments in a way that discourages "Greenwashing".

One- and ten-year outcome of laparoscopic anterior 120° versus total fundoplication: a double-blind, randomized multicenter study.

Background: Nissen fundoplication is an effective treatment for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) but can cause adverse effects like flatulence and dysphagia. The aim was to compare laparoscopic anterior 120° fundoplication (APF) to total fundoplication (Nissen) concerning flatulence and other adverse effects, in a randomized blinded study.

Methods: Seventy-two patients were randomized to APF (n = 36) or Nissen (n = 36).
