One of the biggest challenges for in vivo gene therapy are vectors mediating highly selective gene transfer into a defined population of therapy-relevant cells. Here we present DARPin-targeted AAVs (DART-AAVs) displaying DARPins specific for human and murine CD8. Insertion of DARPins into the GH2/GH3 loop of the capsid protein 1 (VP1) of AAV2 and AAV6 resulted in high selectivity for CD8-positive T cells with unimpaired gene delivery activity.

While several eubiotic compounds (ECs) are being introduced commercially, it is essential to devise an in vitro model to screen these compounds to assess their immunomodulatory and antimicrobial properties prior to their testing in vivo. A chicken macrophage cell-line (MQ-NCSU) was used to develop an in vitro model to screen the immunological and anti-C.

Methods: Seventeen migraine patients and 15 patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis with WMHs, and 17 healthy subjects age-and sex-matched to the migraine group were prospectively enrolled and underwent conventional and advanced MRI studies with diffusion-and perfusion-weighted imaging and single voxel proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
Results: In both disease groups, elevated T2 relaxation time, apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values, and decreased -acetyl-aspartate levels were found in the intralesional white matter compared to the contralateral normal-appearing white matter (NAWM), while there was no difference between the hemispheres of the control subjects.
Clostridial dermatitis (CD), caused by Clostridium septicum, is an emerging disease of increasing economic importance in turkeys. Currently, there are no effective vaccines for CD control. Here, two non-toxic domains of C.

However, multi-anchor systems have high costs and installation effort. By exploiting the multipath propagation of the UWB signal, the infrastructure and thus the costs of conventional systems can be reduced.
