Predicting virus-host associations is essential to determine the specific host species that viruses interact with, and discover if new viruses infect humans and animals. Currently, the host of the majority of viruses is unknown, particularly in microbiomes. To address this challenge, we introduce EvoMIL, a deep learning method that predicts the host species for viruses from viral sequences only.

Understanding the factors that contribute to FAQOL at different ages is essential to develop personalized interventions that will improve FAQOL.
Objective: To determine the most influential factors that impact FAQOL across ages in well-phenotyped participants with confirmed FA.
Our center launched the first antimicrobial stewardship program in Peru. From 2016 to 2023, the proportion of antimicrobial prescriptions audited increased from 60% to 95%, and 65% to 95% of recommendations were accepted. Vancomycin and meropenem use dropped by 95% and 84%, respectively.
