Aims: Congenital heart disease (CHD) is a significant cause of growth failure and neonatal mortality worldwide, and requirement-focused nutritional management can deeply impact the prognosis. Despite multiple trials, there is no published meta-analysis on the impact of high-energy nutrition in this population.
Methods: We searched PubMed, Embase and Cochrane Central for RCTs comparing high-energy to standard formulas in hospitalised patients.
Background/objectives: There is increasing evidence linking circulating neurotoxic lipids to the progression of chronic neuroinflammatory diseases in the peripheral and central nervous systems. Strategies to modify lipid profiles, such as docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)-rich supplementation, may aid in managing conditions like painful diabetic neuropathy (pDN). In a previous study, we demonstrated that three months of DHA supplementation significantly altered the metabolomic profile of patients with painful diabetic neuropathy (pDN), resulting in symptom improvement.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) have emerged as promising candidates for energy storage applications owing to their customizable structure and inherent properties, including enduring porosity and expansive surface area. In this study, we introduce imine-based COF aerogels fashioned into flexible COF electrodes, employing redox electrolytes based on hydroquinone (HQ) dissolved in HSO aqueous solution and 0.

The biosensor integrates graphene nanosheets (Graph-NS), tetrahedral DNA nanostructures (TDNs), and carbon nanodots (CNDs) to enhance sensitivity and specificity. Graph-NS are employed to structure the transducer and serve as a platform for DNA immobilization.
