A binary dimensionally stable anode Ti/TiO-RuO electrode was used to abate the antibiotic oxytetracycline (OTC) (CHNO) in chloride water. The anode was prepared using the Pechini method and subsequently characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy-energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDS), and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The optimum values of the operational parameters affecting removal efficiency were determined using a 2 × 3 factorial design by screening (6.

Between August and 28 October 2024, 199 autochthonous cases of dengue virus serotype 2 were notified in the city of Fano, central Italy. We describe the ongoing epidemiological and microbiological investigation and public health measures implemented to contain the outbreak. The high transmissibility and the extension of the outbreak suggest that dengue should be expected in temperate regions during favourable seasons, highlighting the need for heightened awareness among healthcare providers and the public to ensure timely detection and response.

In this Letter, we explore the dynamics of species abundances within ecological communities using the generalized Lotka-Volterra (GLV) model. At variance with previous approaches, we present an analysis of GLV dynamics with temporal stochastic fluctuations in interaction strengths between species. We develop a dynamical mean field theory (DMFT) tailored for scenarios with colored noise interactions, which we term annealed disorder, and simple functional responses.
