- - Four patients aged 33 to 68 presented with periapical lesions requiring periodontal surgery prior to getting prosthetics, each displaying different dental issues such as retained intraradicular devices and fistulas.
- - Treatment involved coronal lengthening and apical surgery for the first three patients, while the fourth patient underwent apical surgery and implant placement with successful results, indicated by bone filling of the lesions in follow-up checks.
- - The study suggests that combining periodontal and endodontic surgeries into one procedure is beneficial as it can lower costs, minimize appointments, reduce medication, and decrease post-surgical complications.
Previous works have argued that future gravitational-wave detectors will be able to probe the properties of astrophysical environments where binaries coalesce, including accretion disks, but also dark matter structures. Most analyses have resorted to a Newtonian modeling of the environmental effects, which are not suited to study extreme-mass-ratio inspirals immersed in structures of ultralight bosons. In this Letter, we use relativistic perturbation theory to consistently study these systems in spherical symmetry.

We aimed to identify brain regions that have diverged in the brood-parasitic brain using relative transcript abundance of social neuropeptides and receptors. We compared behavioral responses and transcript abundance in three brain regions in the brown-headed cowbird (BHCO), a brood parasite, and a closely related parental species, the red-winged blackbird (RWBL).
