Purpose: To provide an aggregate review of literature on 1) outcomes related to the quality of intercourse (frequency, postoperative pain during intercourse, postoperative sexual dysfunction) after hip arthroscopy and 2) patient-reported outcomes regarding postoperative sexual function after hip arthroscopy.

Methods: This systematic review followed The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. PubMed, Cochrane Controlled Register of Trials (CENTRAL), and Scopus were queried in March 2024.

Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most common primary malignant brain tumor in adults with a poor prognosis despite aggressive therapy. Here, we hypothesized that daily host signaling regulates tumor growth and synchronizes circadian rhythms in GBM. We find daily glucocorticoids promote or suppress GBM growth through glucocorticoid receptor (GR) signaling depending on time of day and the clock genes, Bmal1 and Cry.

Lower extremity edema and compression are potential causes of poor soft tissue healing and flap failure for patients who suffer lower extremity trauma. This review summarizes techniques aimed at reducing edema and mechanical pressure in these patients as well as those undergoing soft tissue coverage techniques. We conducted a literature review for postoperative nursing management to reduce edema in the lower extremity, following traumatic injury.
