Methods: Four databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Embase were systematically searched for studies published between January 2010 and July 2023. Visual outcomes, daily wearing duration, subjective comfort, rate and etiology of CL discontinuation, corneal endothelial cell density, central corneal thickness, and complications were extracted.

In this randomized controlled trial, we assessed the effects of three consecutive intra-silicone oil (SO) injections of methotrexate (MTX) on the outcomes of surgery for proliferative vitreoretinopathy grade C (PVR-C). Seventy-four eyes of 74 patients with PVR-C were included. Of these, 37 eyes were assigned to the MTX group and 37 eyes to the control group.

Background: The long-term disease trajectory of people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) can be improved by initiating efficacious treatment early. More quantitative evidence is needed on factors that affect a patient's risk of disability worsening or possibility of improvement to inform timely treatment decisions.

Methods: We developed a multistate model to quantify the influence of demographic, clinical, and imaging factors on disability worsening and disability improvement simultaneously across the disability spectrum as measured by the Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS).

Introduction: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to determine the safety of liposomal amphotericin B (L-AMB) compared to other antifungal agents for secondary prophylaxis.

Method: We conducted a comprehensive search across international databases and reference lists of articles to compile all relevant published evidence evaluating the efficacy and safety of L-AMB versus other antifungals (NLAMB) for secondary prophylaxis against invasive fungal infections. Pooled estimates were calculated after data transformation to evaluate mortality, breakthrough infections, and the frequency of adverse effects, including hypokalemia and nephrotoxicity.

Gallium phosphide (GaP) is a III-V semiconductor with remarkable optoelectronic properties, and it has almost the same lattice constant as silicon (Si). However, to date, the monolithic and large-scale integration of GaP devices with silicon remains challenging. In this study, we present a nanoheteroepitaxy approach using gas-source molecular-beam epitaxy for selective growth of GaP islands on Si nanotips, which were fabricated using complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology on a 200 mm n-type Si(001) wafer.
