Using the inverter with temporary storage capabilities cope with shortages and power fluctuations. This paper presents a new sensorless control of a single-phase grid-connected PV system based on a multilevel flying capacitor inverter MFCI) able to smooth out the power produced.

Effects of herbicides and fertilization on biofilms of Pampean lotic systems: A microcosm study.

We experimentally assessed the impact of the application of herbicides and fertilizers derived from agricultural activity through the individual and simultaneous addition of glyphosate, atrazine, and nutrients (nitrogen 'N' and phosphorus 'P') on the biofilm community and their resilience when the experimental factors were removed. We hypothesize that i) the presence of agrochemicals negatively affects the biofilm community leading to the simplification of the community structure; ii) the individual or simultaneous addition of herbicides and nutrients produces differential responses in the biofilm; and iii) the degree of biofilm recovery differs according to the treatment applied. The present work investigates different models of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell. More specifically, three models are studied: a nonlinear state-space model, a generic dynamic model integrated into MATLAB/Simulink, and an equivalent RC electrical circuit. A new equivalent electrical RL model is proposed, and the methodology for determining its parameters is also given.

Clinical and epidemiological study of cutaneous leishmaniasis in two tertiary care hospitals of Jammu and Kashmir: An emerging disease in North India.

Background: An increasing number of patients with cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) are reporting to tertiary care centers in Jammu and Kashmir, an area that has previously been non-endemic for this disease. This merits consideration of CL as a major health problem of considerable epidemiological importance. The aims of this study were firstly to describe the clinico-epidemiological profile, therapeutic characteristics, and outcomes of patients with CL and secondly to highlight this union territory as a new focus of endemicity for CL.
