Certolizumab Pegol for the Treatment of Plaque Psoriasis in Routine Clinical Practice: One-Year Results from the CIMREAL Study.

Introduction: Certolizumab pegol (CZP) is an anti-tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) approved for the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis (PSO). However, data on its real-world use is currently limited. The objective of this study was to describe the 1-year real-world effectiveness of CZP, its impact on health-related quality of life (HRQoL), and safety outcomes in patients with moderate to severe PSO in multi-country settings.

Impact of recurrent COVID-19 disease waves on acute myocardial infarction epidemics: results from a regional network.

Aims: To assess the impact of COVID-19 related public containment measures during recurrent COVID-19 waves on hospital admission rate for acute myocardial infarction (AMI).

Methods And Results: Clinical characteristics, reperfusion therapy modalities, COVID-19 status and in-hospital mortality of consecutive AMI patients who were admitted in a regional AMI network were recorded during one year starting in March 2020 and were compared with the year before. The COVID-19 study period encompassed two waves: the first in March-May 2020 and the second in October-December 2020.

Association of air pollution and green space with all-cause general practitioner and emergency room visits: A cross-sectional study of young people and adults living in Belgium.

Background: Residing in areas with lower levels of air pollution and higher green space is beneficial to physical and mental health. We investigated associations of PM, tree cover and grass cover with in-hours and out-of-hours GP visits and ER visits, for young people and adults. We estimated potential cost savings of GP visits attributable to high PM.

Treatment Preferences in Young Adults with Moderate to Severe Psoriasis: A Qualitative Study from the Nordic Countries.

Introduction: The purpose of this study is to explore treatment preferences and identify patient characteristics in young bio-naive adults with moderate to severe psoriasis in the Nordic countries (Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark).

Methods: Patients were 18-45 years old and bio-naive but referred for biologic treatment of moderate to severe psoriasis. Patients were included at eight Nordic dermatology clinics.
