Background: Health anxiety (HA) is a prevalent concern among medical students, potentially impacting their academic performance and Quality of Life (QoL). This study aims to assess the prevalence of HA and its predictors among medical students in Egypt and its correlation with the Quality of Life.
Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted during the 2022-2023 academic year across ten Egyptian medical schools.
Background: One method for treating adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), which is characterized by abnormal spinal alignment in the coronal, sagittal, and rotational planes, is surgical correction. The two surgical techniques most typically used to correct spine alignment are simple rod derotation (SRD) and direct vertebral derotation (DVR).
Aim: The study's goal was to assess the effectiveness of two treatment methods for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis: simple rod derotation and direct vertebral rotation.
A novel series of benzothiazolyl-pyridine hybrids - and - were produced from the reaction of enamine derivative with each of the arylcyanoacetamides - and cyanoacetohydrazides -. The new products were characterized by spectral techniques (IR, H NMR, C NMR, and MS). Biological evaluation of - and - in against H5N1 and SARS-COV-2 viruses showed that several compounds had significant activity.

Purpose: To investigate CC ligament healing and functional outcomes after arthroscopic fixation using the TightRope device for acute AC joint disruption.
Background: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a common digestive problem in adults particularly medical students, who are one of the most vulnerable groups. Many variables, including lifestyle changes and psychological stress, increase the prevalence of GERD among undergraduate medical students. Therefore, this study aims to assess the prevalence, and risk factors of GERD, and its relationship with perceived stress among medical students in Egypt.
