To address these challenges, innovative workforce strategies are necessary, including the diversification of skills and the creation of advanced career pathways for healthcare professionals such as nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals.

Nontraditional Synthesis of Disaccharides via Acyclic Vinylic Ether Intermediates: Catalytic C-O Cross-Coupling as the Enabling Link.

We describe complementary methods for synthesizing acyclic vinylic ethers from two carbohydrate-derived synthons. We compare a nonstereoselective olefination approach with a stereoselective catalytic C-O cross-coupling method, preparing 1,2-disubstituted vinylic ethers with complexity on both sides of the ether linkage. Upon epoxidation/ oxacyclization of acyclic vinylic ethers, we synthesized disaccharides with α-d-galacto-, α-d-talo-, β-d-allo-, and α-d-altropyranoside stereochemistry, from d-lyxose and d-ribose precursors.

The Persian Version of the Fear of Progression Questionnaire's Short Form (FOPQ-SF): Psychometric Features Among Cancer Patients.

Introduction: Fear of progression (FOP) is a significant psychological concern among cancer patients. The Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form (FOPQ-SF) is one of the significant and reliable tools to evaluate FOP. This study aims to validate the psychometric features of the Persian version of FOPQ-SF in Iranian cancer patients.

Machine learning models of cerebral oxygenation (rcSO) for brain injury detection in neonates with hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy.

The present study was designed to test the potential utility of regional cerebral oxygen saturation (rcSO) in detecting term infants with brain injury. The study also examined whether quantitative rcSO features are associated with grade of hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy (HIE). We analysed 58 term infants with HIE (>36 weeks of gestational age) enrolled in a prospective observational study.
