Background: Diabetic wounds pose significant clinical challenges due to impaired healing processes, often resulting in chronic, nonhealing ulcers. Asiaticoside (AC), a natural triterpene derivative from , has demonstrated notable anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties. However, the synergistic effects of nitric oxide (NO)-a recognized promoter of wound healing-combined with AC in treating diabetic wounds remain inadequately explored.

Automated welding robots face challenges in unstructured field conditions, limiting their use in complex steel structures like pipelines, bridges, and buildings. Expandable convoluted pipe (ECP) poses unique welding challenges due to their confined spaces and irregular shapes. Manually performed butt-welding for ECPs is inefficient.

Nucleus pulposus (NP) tissue engineering brings new hope in the repair of intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD). IVDD is often accompanied by multiscale changes in the mechanical microenvironment, including the changes of mechanical property of collagen fibril, NP tissue, and mechanical instability of spine. In this study, a multiscale mechanically-adapted strategy is proposed to promote NP repair.

Introduction And Objectives: Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), formerly non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, is a growing global health challenge. This study examines the global burden of MASLD from 1990 to 2021 and projects data for 2045.

Materials And Methods: Using data from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Study 2021, the study analyzed MASLD across 204 countries from 1990 to 2021, focusing on prevalence, incidence, deaths, and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs).
