This field report presents the planning and execution of a large-scale aeromedical refugee retrieval operation amid the on-going Russia-Ukraine crisis. The retrieval was coordinated by the Italian Department of Civil Protection and led by the Centrale Remota Operazioni Soccorso Sanitario (CROSS), a governmental facility overseeing medical assistance. An Airbus A320 was chosen for its capacity of 165 passengers, with one emergency stretcher maintaining maximum seating.

Pixantrone is currently approved as third or fourth line regimen, with encouraging results, even if long-term follow-up data are limited.
Methods: In this post-hoc analysis of our observational study, we retrospectively investigated disease outcome and clinical characteristics of 16 R/R DLBCL patients who achieved a complete response with pixantrone.
Ibrutinib represents the first approved treatment for patients with Waldenström macroglobulinemia (WM). There are very few published experiences outside of a clinical trial. In this study, we investigated treatment response, survival, and safety in a real life setting.
