Prevalence and influencing factors of the dyadic psychological stress among patients with lung cancer and their family caregivers: a cross-sectional study.

Background: A lung cancer diagnosis has a huge impact on the psychological well-being of both patients and family caregivers. However, the current psychological stress status among dyads remains unclear. We aimed to determine the prevalence of anxiety and depression and identify the factors that influence patients with lung cancer and their caregivers.

Bladder cancer (BCa) is a common and lethal disease characterized by high recurrence rates and limited treatment options. Understanding the molecular pathways of BCa progress is crucial for investigating more effective targeted therapies. While ADAMTS12 is known to contribute to cancer progression and treatment resistance, its prognostic significance and underlying mechanisms in BCa remain poorly understood.

Brain radiotherapy combined with camrelizumab and platinum-doublet chemotherapy for previously untreated advanced non-small-cell lung cancer with brain metastases (C-Brain): a multicentre, single-arm, phase 2 trial.

Background: Brain metastases are a common complication in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) lacking actionable driver mutations, with limited treatment options and poor prognosis. We aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of brain radiotherapy combined with camrelizumab and platinum-doublet chemotherapy in patients with newly diagnosed advanced NSCLC and brain metastases.

Methods: This multicentre, single-arm, phase 2 trial was done across nine tertiary hospitals in China.

Using network pharmacology and molecular docking technology, proteomics and experiments were used to verify the effect of Yigu decoction (YGD) on the expression of key genes in osteoporotic mice.

Background: Yigu decoction (YGD) is a traditional Chinese medicine prescription for the treatment of osteoporosis, although many clinical studies have confirmed its anti-OP effect, but the specific mechanism is still not completely clear.

Methods: In this study, through the methods of network pharmacology and molecular docking, the material basis and action target of YGD in preventing and treating OP were analyzed, and the potential target and mechanism of YGD in preventing and treating OP were clarified by TMT quantitative protein and experiment.

Results: Network pharmacology and molecular docking revealed that the active components of YGD were mainly stigmasterol and flavonoids.

Information needs for cancer screening and associated factors of information-seeking behaviour: a qualitative systematic review.

Background: At present, the participation rate in cancer screening is still not ideal, and the lack of screening information or misunderstanding of information is an important factor hindering cancer screening behaviour. Therefore, a systematic synthesis of information needs related to cancer screening is critical.

Methods: On July 23, 2024, we searched the Cochrane Library, MEDLINE (Ovid), Embase, EBSCO, PsycINFO, Scopus, ProQuest, PubMed, Web of Science, and CINAHL to collect qualitative or mixed-methods studies on information needs of cancer screening.
