Introduction: Patients with autosomal dominant tubulointerstitial kidney disease (ADTKD) usually present with nonspecific progressive chronic kidney disease (CKD) with mild to negative proteinuria and a family history. ADTKD- leads to the formation of a frameshift protein that accumulates in the cytoplasm, leading to tubulointerstitial damage. ADTKD- prevalence remains unclear because variants are not routinely detected by standard next-generation sequencing (NGS) techniques.

Phytochemical investigation of the underground parts of Arundina graminifolia D.Don Hochr was conducted leading to the isolation of nine new glucosyloxybenzyl 2R-benzylmalate and two new glucosyloxybenzyl 2R-isobutylmalate derivatives. The compounds were purified using chromatographic techniques and their structures were deduced based on spectroscopic techniques including nuclear magnetic resonance and high-resolution mass spectrometry as well as comparing with previous literature.

TRIT1 encodes a tRNA isopentenyl transferase that allows a strong interaction between the mini helix and the codon. Recent reports support the TRIT1 bi-allelic alterations as the cause of an autosomal recessive disorder, named combined oxydative phophorylation deficiency 35, with microcephaly, developmental disability, and epilepsy. The phenotype is due to decreased mitochondrial function, with deficit of i6A37 in cytosolic and mitochondrial tRNA.

Trapeziometacarpal arthroplasties are designed to restore an adequate level of mobility, stability, and grip strength. In this article, pain and functional and radiographic outcome of Ivory arthroplasty in male patients are investigated. Between 2005 and 2012, the Ivory arthroplasty was inserted in 21 male patients with degenerative trapeziometacarpal osteoarthritis, of which 14 patients were found eligible for inclusion.
