Background: Although there is evidence that indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) can predict mastectomy skin flap necrosis during breast reconstruction, consensus on optimal protocol is lacking. This study aimed to evaluate various technical factors which can influence ICG fluorescence intensity and thus interpretation of angiograms.
Method: Single institution retrospective study (2015-2021) of immediate implant-based breast reconstructions postmastectomy using a standardized technique of ICGA, controlling for modifiable factors of ambient lighting, camera distance and ICG dose.
Black tea, a widely popular non-alcoholic beverage, is renowned for its unique aroma and has attracted significant attention due to its complex composition. However, the chemical profile of Iranian tea remains largely unexplored. In this research, black tea samples from key tea cultivation regions in four geographical areas in northern Iran were firstly analyzed using headspace solid-phase microextraction followed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC-MS) to separate, identify, and quantify their volatile organic compounds.

The designed compounds were prepared and their TYRI activity and mechanisms were studied. The results showed that the selected compounds exhibited potent tyrosinase inhibitory activities greater than that of kojic acid (KA).

The study aimed to determine the effect of group counseling based on couples' constructive communication on perceived spousal support in uterine and cervical cancer survivors.
Methods: A randomized controlled trial on 40 women who survived uterine and cervical cancer were recruited using convenience sampling and then randomly allocated to a couple-based constructive communication intervention group and a routine cancer center care control group from June 2019 to March 2020 in Motahhari and Imam Khomeini hospitals in Urmia.
Background: Patients with von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease are at risk of developing tumors in the eye, brain, kidney, adrenal gland, and other organs based on their gene mutations. The VHL tumor suppressor gene contains pathogenic variants responsible for these events. This meta-analysis aims to investigate the genetic differences among the various types of VHL syndrome and their correlation with the location of mutations (exons and domains) in the VHL gene.
