Objective: Experiential phenomena (EP), such as illusions and complex hallucinations, are vivid experiences created in one's mind. They can occur spontaneously as epileptic auras or can be elicited by electrical brain stimulation (EBS) in patients undergoing presurgical evaluation for drug-resistant epilepsy.
