Role of sequential biopsy study in the evaluation of renal transplant.

Renal biopsy is indicated in all cases of renal transplants showing renal dysfunction. This not only helps in the diagnosis but also in the institution of proper management. Study of sequential biopsies is essential for establishing the cause of renal dysfunction, evaluation of the effect of treatment and the progress of the disease.

Rhinoscleroma: a clinicopathological study from the Gulf region.

Introduction: Rhinoscleroma is a chronic progressive inflammatory disease of the upper respiratory tract. We report a clinicopathological series from the Gulf region.

Methods: The clinical and pathological features of patients diagnosed with rhinoscleroma at three main hospitals in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain over a 20-year period are presented.

Pathogenesis of balls in mature ovarian cystic teratoma. Report of 3 cases and review of literature.

Ovarian cystic teratomas with intracystic balls are rare, and only 11 cases have been reported since 1946. We present 2 new cases and review the literature for the clinical presentation and morphological appearances of the cysts and balls. We also present our histology findings on a third case reported in the international literature.
