Complex mathematical SIR model for spreading of COVID-19 virus with Mittag-Leffler kernel.

This paper investigates a new model on coronavirus-19 disease (COVID-19), that is complex fractional SIR epidemic model with a nonstandard nonlinear incidence rate and a recovery, where derivative operator with Mittag-Leffler kernel in the Caputo sense (ABC). The model has two equilibrium points when the basic reproduction number ; a disease-free equilibrium and a disease endemic equilibrium . The disease-free equilibrium stage is locally and globally asymptotically stable when the basic reproduction number , we show that the endemic equilibrium state is locally asymptotically stable if .

Poly(acrylamide/vinylsulfonic acid) hydrogel for invertase immobilization.

Poly (acrylamide/vinylsulfonic acid) PA/VSA and poly (acrylamide) PA hydrogels were prepared by free radical polymerization in the presence of a crosslinker, to be used as a support for the invertase enzyme. Spectrophotometric, thermal analysis methods, swelling, and diffusion experiments were used for the characterization of hydrogels. SEM images show that the hydrogels have a smooth, homogeneous, highly porous and spongy morphology.

A randomized-controlled trial of prolotherapy injections in the treatment of plantar fasciitis.

Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of prolotherapy injections for the treatment of plantar fasciitis.

Material And Methods: Between October 2014 and October 2015, 60 patients with symptomatic chronic plantar fasciitis were randomly divided into two groups, as control (n=31) and prolotherapy (n=29) groups. In the prolotherapy group, ultrasound-guided prolotherapy injections into the plantar fascia up to five different points were performed three times every 21 days.
