Background: Infectious diseases remain the leading cause of death among children younger than 5 years due to disparities in access and acceptance of essential interventions. The Community Mobilisation and Community Incentivisation (CoMIC) trial was designed to evaluate a customised community mobilisation and incentivisation strategy for improving coverage of evidence-based interventions for child health in Pakistan.
Methods: CoMIC was a three-arm cluster-randomised, controlled trial in rural areas of Pakistan.
Background This study aimed to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and complications of 23-gauge (23-G) pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) in the treatment of various vitreoretinal diseases. Methodology A retrospective, cross-sectional study was conducted at Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, Rawalpindi. The chemical structures of all nine isolates were determined by comprehensive analysis of HRMS, 1D & 2D NMR experiments and by comparison with data in the literature. All nine compounds were evaluated for antibacterial activity by the broth microdilution through the rapid -iodonitrotetrazolium chloride (INT) colorimetric technique.

The ascendance of the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation as a regional hub for organ procurement and transplantation is a testament to Saudi Arabia's commitment to advancing health care delivery and promoting international collaboration in combating organ trafficking and commercialism. Moving forward, sustained investments in infrastructure, capacity building, and regulatory oversight will be paramount to addressing emerging challenges and consolidating Saudi Arabia's position as a global leader in transplantation.
