Introduction: Understanding the molecular mechanism underlying the pathogenesis of knee osteoarthritis (KOA) may be beneficial in fetching new therapeutics. Our study aims to investigate the implication of Wnt/ β-catenin pathway in development of KOA by detection of the downstream target genes and their crosstalk with miR-214 in patients with KOA and to correlate that with the clinical findings.
Methods: Sixty participants were involved in the study.

Objectives: This integrative review aims to evaluate the available empirical and theoretical literature on the effects caused by different types of occupational toluene exposure on the health of workers. We aim to guide future research, legislation, and guidelines with evidence-based recommendations on toluene exposure.
Design: An integrative review of the literature.
WHO grade 2 and 3 meningioma constitute approximately 20% of all meningioma. The lower incidence of these more aggressive meningiomas has led to under-representation of clinical outcomes in the literature. It is hypothesised that patients with grade 2 or 3 meningiomas are disabled by tumour and treatment morbidity, contributing to lower health-related quality-of-life (HRQoL).
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA comprehensive treatment approach for young leachate landfill (YLL) from Fez City was investigated using an integral system involving aeration as a pretreatment before the binary oxidation process using hydrogen peroxide (HP)/persulfate (PS) as oxidants, in which UV-A irradiation and ultrasonic (US) are used as activators (HP-PS-US-UV-A). The initial treatment by aeration resulted in COD, color, and Abs removal efficiencies of 54%, 61%, and 55%, respectively. The efficiency of the AOP was statistically evaluated, and the optimal operating conditions were determined by Box-Behnken design (BBD) to investigate the effects of three operating variables (pH, [SO], and [HO]) on three target responses: COD, Abs, and color removal.
