Spectroscopy (UV-visible, circular dichroism, infrared, Raman, fluorescence, etc.) is of fundamental importance to determine the structures of macromolecules and monitor their stability, especially for drug products, based on proteins or nucleic acids. In their 2014 article, Dinh et al.

In clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC), metabolic reprogramming leads to lipid accumulation, influenced by the adipose differentiation-related protein (ADFP). This study aimed to investigate whether hepatic and tumoral Hounsfield Unit (HU) values could serve as noninvasive radiogenomic biomarkers for ADFP expression in ccRCC.

Trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1) has been established as the standard of care in the adjuvant setting for HER2BC patients who do not obtain pCR. The ATD study aimed to evaluate the real-world tolerability of T-DM1 in this setting.

Therefore, reports of autophagosome tethering compounds (ATTECs) have received considerable attention from the drug development community. ATTECs are based on the recruitment of targets to LC3/GABARAP, a family of ubiquitin-like proteins that presumably bind to the autophagosome membrane and tether cargo-loaded autophagy receptors into the autophagosome.

We previously demonstrated that near-infrared spectroscopy in vivo presents spectral features at 895 and 861 nm that accurately classify Alzheimer's disease, mild cognitive impairment, and age-matched control subjects. Our purpose here is to associate the 895 nm signal with [Formula: see text]-amyloid. We applied our feature selection technique to subjects with and without leptomeningeal amyloid.
