[Gastrointestinal bleeding as debut of complicated celiac disease].

Celiac disease (CD) is an autoimmune malabsorption syndrome that presents with intolerance to gluten (gliadin), a protein found in wheat. The most common symptoms are diarrhea, steatorrhea, weight loss, weakness, vitamin and mineral deficiency. The probability of developing complicated CD is relatively low, among its main manifestations we have refractory sprue, T-cell lymphoma and ulcerative jejunitis (UY) of which a few cases develop gastrointestinal bleeding.

Nivolumab in patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma in France: interim results of the observational, real-world WITNESS study.

Background: Nivolumab is the first immune checkpoint inhibitor approved in Europe for the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (aRCC) in patients resistant to prior antiangiogenic therapy. WITNESS is an ongoing, prospective, observational study designed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of nivolumab in patients with aRCC treated in real life (or routine practice) in France (ClinicalTrials.gov identifier: NCT03455452).

Modeling solvent effects and convergence of P-NMR shielding calculations with COBRAMM.

Solvent effects on P-NMR parameters for triphenylphosphine oxide and triphenylphosphine in chloroform have been extensively investigated by testing different solvation models. The solvent is described implicitly, mixed implicitly/explicitly, and using full explicit models. Polarizable continuum model (PCM), molecular dynamic (MD) simulations, and hybrid quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics (QM/MM) calculations are used to disclose the effects of solute/solvent interactions and, more generally, the role of the embedding in NMR simulations.

Primary thyroid rhabdomyosarcoma in an adult: A challenging case with histomolecular diagnosis and literature review.

Introduction And Importance: Primary thyroid sarcomas are very rare tumours, accounting for less than 1 % of all thyroid malignancies. We present the fifth case in the literature of primary thyroid rhabdomyosarcoma and the third in adults with, for the first time, an extensive molecular analysis.

Case Presentation: A 61-year-old woman presented with a rapidly progressive neck mass with extensive local invasion of the tumour.

Interest of the Addition of Taxanes to Standard Treatment in First-Line Advanced HER2 Positive Gastroesophageal Adenocarcinoma in Selective Patients.

Background: Studies have reported a beneficial role of the addition of trastuzumab to platin-5-FU based chemotherapy in first-line advanced HER2 positive gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA). However, the effect of taxanes combined with platin-5FU + trastuzumab (PFT) is understudied.

Methods: We performed a retrospective cohort study to evaluate the interest of taxanes among HER2-positive advanced GEA patients treated with PFT.
