Aromamassage of the cervical color zone in 100 patients with atherosclerotic dyscirculatory encephalopathy resulted in a significant improvement of cerebral circulation and functional state of the brain.

[The use of ethonium electrophoresis in treating patients with atherosclerotic encephalopathy].

The new property of ethonium as an angioprotector makes it possible to use ethonium electrophoresis in the treatment of patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy of atherosclerotic genesis. Treatment results in a hypocholesterolemic effect, improvement of rheoencephalography data and lipid peroxidation.

[Further study of the nature and characteristics of the rosette formation phenomenon by a modified Jerne's method].

Experiments were conducted on 105 mongrel female albino mice weighing 18--22 g (intact, irradiated in a dose of 700 r with gamma-rays 60Co or immunized with SRBC) and on intact hybrids F1, CBAxC57BL. Phase contract microscopy showed autoimmune hemolysis plaques to be large or irregular and to posses a girdle made up of deformed and lysed erythrocytes and to contain stroma "ghosts" of the latter around the central cell. Plaques obtained in hypertensive medium were always round and the bordering girdle consisted of intact erythrocytes, whereas the plaque filed was homogeneous or contained granules.

[The condition of the retinal vessels and intraocular and retinal pressure in patients with incipient forms of cerebrovascular atherosclerosis].

The authors examined 350 patients with initial forms of cerebrovascular atherosclerosis. Among the studied group 98 had discirculatory disorders. All patients were studied for the eye ground, intraocular and retinal pressure.

[Use of euphyllin and adrenaline electrophoresis in the sanatorium-health resort treatment of hypothalamic syndromes].

The authors propose a comprehensive treatment of patients with hypothalamic syndromes (vegetative-visceral vascular forms) by a differentiated use of electrophoresis of euphellin. This method was efficacious in expressed headaches with increased blood pressure and cerebral vessels tone, crises of a sypmathico-adrenal character. Electrophoresis of adrenalin was mainly indicated in symptoms of sympatho-adrenal insufficiency and crises of a vago-insular structure.
