Purpose: Long axial field-of-view (LAFOV) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) scanners enable high sensitivity and wide anatomical coverage. Therefore, they seem ideal to perform post-selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) Y scans, which are needed, to confirm that the dose is delivered to the tumors and that healthy organs are spared. However, it is unclear to what extent the use of LAFOV PET is feasible and which dosimetry approaches results in accurate measurements.

Frequency of severe infections in rheumatic disease patients receiving bDMARDs post-kidney transplantation: a multicenter study.

Objectives: To evaluate the incidence and characteristics of severe infections in rheumatic patients receiving biologic disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (bDMARDs) after kidney transplantation.

Methods: This multicenter, retrospective study included 38 patients who had undergone kidney transplantation and received bDMARDs for rheumatic diseases. Demographic, clinical, and treatment data were collected.

Background: Neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) afflict nearly 2 billion people worldwide and are caused by various pathogens, such as bacteria, protozoa, and trypanosoma, prevalent in tropical and subtropical regions. Among the 17 NTDs recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), protozoal infections caused by Plasmodium, Entamoeba, Leishmania, and Trypanosoma are particularly prominent and pose significant public health. Indonesia, endowed with a rich biodiversity owing to its tropical climate, harbors numerous plant species with potent biological activities that hold promise for therapeutic interventions.

Co-occurrence of frailty, possible sarcopenia, and malnutrition in community-dwelling older outpatients: a multicentre observational study.

Background: The co-occurrence of frailty, sarcopenia and malnutrition has been well studied in inpatient and nursing home settings, which are associated with a higher risk of all-cause mortality. However, multicentre data from community-dwelling outpatient settings are lacking. Therefore, we aimed to find the prevalence of frailty, possible sarcopenia and malnutrition, their overlap, and the associated factors in community-dwelling older outpatients.

In this study, the aim was to investigate the chemical content and in vitro antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory activities of petroleum ether (PE), dichloromethane (DCM), ethyl acetate (EA), and n-butanol (n-BuOH) fractions obtained from ethanol extracts of the aerial parts and roots of the endemic Wagenitz. This plant is found in the Aksaray-Eskil region and has not been studied in phytochemical studies before. In this context, the chemical content of the aerial parts and root PE fractions was analyzed by GC-MS analysis in terms of terpenes and steroid substances.

Incompatibility of Lacrimal Syringing Test with Dacryoscintigraphy in Patients Undergoing Successful Dacryocystorhinostomy Surgery.

 The aim of our study was to evaluate the compatibility of lacrimal syringe test with dacryoscintigraphy (DSG) in the postoperative evaluation of external dacryocystorhinostomy (Ext-DCR) surgery.  Thirty eyes of 30 patients suffering from unilateral epiphora with discharge and showing complete obstruction on lacrimal irrigation test were included in the study. Patients with dysfunctional lacrimal pump function, revision surgery, partial obstruction, and ocular surface diseases were not included in the study.

Tofu whey wastewater is the protein-rich liquid by-product of tofu production that has the potential as a source stream for biobased products. Coagulation can be used to recover protein from tofu whey. Biobased coagulants are alternatives for polymer- and metal-based coagulants, particularly if the precipitate is recovered and used for further processes.

Empowering Deaf Children Through KatakLarita in Sexual Safety Education.

In the depth topic of child protection, the alarming prevalence of sexual violence remains a dark thread that permeates every layer of society. This report delves into the implementation of "KatakLarita," an innovative and inclusive educational initiative aimed at enhancing sexual safety education for deaf children. Results showed that using "KatakLarita" as learning media helped deaf students improve significantly in sexual safety knowledge.

Nutritional fulfillment behavior of pregnant women based on the health belief model theory in Indonesia.

Introduction: malnutrition in pregnant women will cause impaired fetal development, premature delivery, impaired baby growth, and the risk of causing chronic disease. The Health Belief Model is used and has an important role in directing pregnant women to engage in preventive health behavior, namely preventing malnutrition.

Objective: this study aims to analyze the factors related to the nutritional fulfillment behavior of pregnant women based on the theory of the health belief model.

Objective: The specific purpose of this study was to determine the effect of online group education on knowledge, motivation, self-efficacy, self-care behavior, and blood pressure control of hypertensive patients.

Background: This study aimed to compare rice snail shell nano-hydroxyapatite (nano-HAp) toothpaste combined with basil leaf extract and 1450 ppm fluoridated herbal toothpaste as remineralizing and antibacterial agents.

Material And Methods: Experimental toothpastes were prepared with different concentrations of nano-HAp (5% nano-HAp, 10% nano-HAp) and a fixed concentration of basil leaf extract (5% extract). 24 bovine tooth enamel samples were divided into 4 treatment groups.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are highly conserved, small noncoding RNA molecules aberrantly expressed in various pathologies including regulation of tumor and metastasis-associated genes.

The Frequency and Incidence of QT Prolongation with Extended Use of Bedaquiline or Delamanid in a Large, Multi-Country MDR/RR-TB Cohort.

Background: The 2022 WHO guidelines on multi-drug/rifampicin resistant tuberculosis (MDR/RR-TB) recommend six months of bedaquiline (Bdq) in the all-oral 9-month shorter regimen and six months or longer for Bdq and delamanid (Dlm) in the 18-20-month longer regimen. However, lack of evidence on extended treatment using Bdq or Dlm has limited their use to six months. We examine the frequency and incidence of QT prolongation based on duration of Bdq and/or Dlm use in longer regimens.

Methods: Retrospective data analysis was performed on the records of children who attended the Pediatric Neurology Outpatient Clinic between June 01, 2018, and December 01, 2018, complaining of headaches.

Classification of images using Gaussian copula model in empirical cumulative distribution function space.

This study introduces an innovative approach to image classification that uses Gaussian copulas with an Empirical Cumulative Distribution Function (ECDF) approach. The strategic use of distribution functions as feature descriptors simplifies the approach and enables a better understanding of the correlation structure between features in the image. This approach helps the model understand the contextual relationships between different parts of the image, resulting in a more abstract representation than a direct representation of individual pixel values.
