Background: Depression is a common mental disorder that affects 3.8% of the general population and 24% of healthcare workers globally. Healthcare professionals are more susceptible to depression because they face higher amounts of professional stress in their jobs and academic lives.

The effects of psychosocial stimulation on the development, growth, and treatment outcome of children with severe acute malnutrition age 6-59 months in southern Ethiopia: a parallel group cluster randomized control trial (EPSoSAMC study).

Background: Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) remains a major cause of child mortality. To improve the management and survival of children the World Health Organization (WHO) endorsed the protocol for the management of SAM. The protocol suggested the integration of psychosocial stimulation as part of the medico-nutritional care process to prevent the long-term adverse developmental impact of the SAM.

Predictors and Barriers to Full Vaccination among Children in Ethiopia.

Predictors of immunization status outside of large cities in Ethiopia are not well known, and Muslims have lower vaccination coverage. The aim of this study is to assess factors associated with full immunization among children 12-23 months in Worabe, Ethiopia, a Muslim-majority community. A cross-sectional study is conducted in summer 2016.
