The extension of paranasal sinus cancer into the orbit is one of arguments for carrying out orbital exenteration. Until the advent of high-resolution computed tomography, en bloc radical resection, including the orbit, was the most effective method of treating a cancer, whose size could not be adequately judged before surgery. Patient evaluation with computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MR) is described.
