Simultaneous development of adenocarcinoma and primary B cell lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma of the colon is rare; only one case has so far been reported out of 13 cases with the coexistence of colonic adenocarcinoma with involvement of the colon by lymphoma. We hereby present three more cases, two females (aged 75 and 71 years) and a male (aged 72 years). All three underwent colectomy based on a preoperative biopsy revealing colonic carcinoma.

Background: Increased proliferation rate may be associated with inferior outcome in patients with Hodgkin lymphoma (HL). Minichromosome maintenance proteins (MCMs) and D-type cyclins are essential for DNA replication.

Patients And Methods: Lymph node sections from 138 HL patients were immunohistochemically stained for cyclin D3 (CCND3), MCM2 and MCM7 aiming to investigate clinical outcome.

Aim: The analysis of the presence of B-Raf gene mutations in relation to ERK1/2 activation in bladder urothelial carcinoma (UC), in order to determine their potential role in tumour aggressiveness and patients' survival.

Methods: Polymerase chain reaction-single strand confirmation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) and sequencing analysis were used for B-Raf gene mutation detection. pERK1/2 and FGFR3 expression were examined by immunohistochemistry in 152 and 116 primary UCs, respectively.

We investigated endotumoral and peritumoral lymphocytic subsets [natural killer cells (NK), B-cells and cytotoxic/suppressor (CD(8)+) T-cells], and expression of MUC1 and MUC6 glycoprotein with regard to various clinicopathological parameters in invasive breast cancer tissues. The study population consisted of 64 female patients with invasive ductal breast cancer of not-otherwise-specified type. Thirty-five women with benign breast lesions served as controls.
