We report a rare case of curative bronchial stump re-resection after left-side pneumonectomy. A 65-year-old male was operated 2 years prior to current admission for centrally located non-small cell lung cancer, followed by 4 cycles of platinum-based chemotherapy. In 2 years after treatment, a local endobronchial recurrence was diagnosed in the bronchial stump.
