- The study investigates how two types of single polymer films (thermoplastic polyurethane and adhesive epoxy) affect the mechanical properties of composite laminates.
- The laminates were made using either a co-curing or a secondary bonding process, and their interlaminar fracture toughness was measured in two modes.
- The results showed that the PU film significantly enhanced both modes of toughness (290% for mode I and 50% for mode II), while the epoxy film also improved toughness, with increases of 175% for co-curing and 75% for secondary bonding in mode II.
Background: This rapid evidence review identifies and integrates evidence from epidemiology, microbiology and fluid dynamics on the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in indoor environments.
Methods: Searches were conducted in May 2020 in PubMed, medRxiv, arXiv, Scopus, WHO COVID-19 database, Compendex & Inspec. We included studies reporting data on any indoor setting except schools, any indoor activities and any potential means of transmission.
