(1) Background: Atrial cardiomyopathy constitutes an intrinsically prothrombotic atrial substrate that may promote atrial fibrillation and thromboembolic events, especially stroke, independently of the arrhythmia. Atrial reservoir strain is the echocardiography marker with the most robust evidence supporting its prognostic utility.
