Loh and Ren (2023) critiqued our study on authorship trends in high-impact psychology journals that publish invited submissions for the use of outcome-dependent sampling. Although they offer a useful perspective, their methodological suggestions would answer a fundamentally different research question from the one we proposed. We thank Loh and Ren (2023) for their constructive contributions to this dialogue.

Women comprise the majority of graduates from psychology doctoral programs, but equity is yet to be achieved in the professoriate. Publication drives career advancement, underscoring the need to investigate publication-based metrics of eminence. To our knowledge, authorship of invited submissions-a proxy of research esteem-has not been the focus of any psychology studies.

Previous investigations into Female Sexual Desire (FSD) have been focused on women's biological, cognitive, and emotional processes, despite evidence that FSD is also responsive to relational contexts. Past research consistently demonstrates a general association between relationship satisfaction and FSD. There remains, however, a need to expound this connection.

This paper uses Danish register data to examine the effect of relative age for grade on women's risky health behavior. I exploit an administrative rule that creates a discontinuous jump in relative age for grade for children born around January 1. Being young-for-grade leads to a higher probability of an abortion and alcohol poisoning in adolescence and earlier births, cohabitation and contraceptive use.

Background: The Otitis Media-6 questionnaire (OM-6) is the most frequently used instrument to measure health related quality of life in children with otitis media. The main objectives of this study are 1) to translate and cross-culturally adapt the OM-6 into Danish, and 2) to assess important psychometric properties including structural validity and interpretability of the OM-6 in a Danish population of children suffering from otitis media.

Methods: The OM-6 was translated and cross-culturally adapted according to international guidelines.

Introduction: In Denmark, grommet insertion in the tympanic membrane is the most frequent type of surgery carried out on children. Denmark has a higher registered incidence of grommet treatment than the countries with which we normally compare ourselves. It is therefore relevant to study whether ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists follow grommet treatment guidelines, and which children are treated with grommets.
