A substantial number of patients with Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD) undergo a nephrectomy, especially in work-up for a kidney transplantation. Currently, there is no evidence-based algorithm to guide clinicians which patients should undergo nephrectomy, the optimal timing of this procedure, or the preferred surgical technique. This systematic review-based consensus statement aimed to answer important questions regarding nephrectomy in ADPKD.

Secondary objectives were to identify features associated with post-PAE catheter-free survival (PCFS). : All consecutive patients who underwent PAE for IUC related to BPH with a follow-up of at least 2 years (except for early death) in 6 French University Hospitals were retrospectively included.

This meta-analysis systematically evaluates the clinical outcomes, technical efficacy, and complication rates associated with MRI-FLA to better understand its therapeutic potential and safety profile in prostate cancer management. In July 2024, PubMed (MEDLINE) was searched for eligible trials using the PRISMA guidelines.

The secondary purposes were to analyze clinical and technical factors that may affect accuracy and testing the method in a realistic setting, with MR-guided Laser ablation on an ex vivo muscle sample.
Materials And Methods: An ex vivo muscle sample was subjected to Laser ablation while using a two-dimensional multislice segmented echo planar imaging sequence for MR thermometry.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to assess whether single-site and multi-site radiomics could improve the prediction of overall survival (OS) of patients with metastatic lung adenocarcinoma compared to clinicopathological model.
Materials And Methods: Adults with metastatic lung adenocarcinoma, pretreatment whole-body contrast-enhanced computed tomography examinations, and performance status (WHO-PS) ≤ 2 were included in this retrospective single-center study, and randomly assigned to training and testing cohorts. Radiomics features (RFs) were extracted from all measurable lesions with volume ≥ 1 cm.
This study aimed to evaluate the potential of pre-treatment CT-based radiomics features (RFs) derived from single and multiple tumor sites, and state-of-the-art machine-learning survival algorithms, in predicting progression-free survival (PFS) for patients with metastatic lung adenocarcinoma (MLUAD) receiving first-line treatment including immune checkpoint inhibitors (CPIs). To do so, all adults with newly diagnosed MLUAD, pre-treatment contrast-enhanced CT scan, and performance status ≤ 2 who were treated at our cancer center with first-line CPI between November 2016 and November 2022 were included. RFs were extracted from all measurable lesions with a volume ≥ 1 cm on the CT scan.

Objective: To assess the efficacy and safety of percutaneous image-guided cryoablation of adenomyomas MATERIAL AND METHODS: Five symptomatic women who wanted to preserve their uterus and fertility underwent a single session of percutaneous image-guided cryoablation of adenomyoma. Three to six 17-gauge cryoprobes were introduced percutaneously into the adenomyoma under ultrasound and laparoscopy guidance. Clinical efficacy was defined as the diminution of the Visual Analogue Scale of pain (VAS), the decrease in uterine bleeding and the improvement of quality of life assessed by the endometriosis health profile 5 (EHP-5) 12 months after treatment.

Material And Methods: This retrospective study incorporated 48 tumors, 28 of which were ccRCCs and 20 were oncocytomas. All tumors were less than 4 cm in size and had undergone pre-biopsy or pre-surgery MRI.
Background: Differentiating benign from malignant renal tumors is important for patient management, and it may be improved by quantitative CT features analysis including radiomic.
Purpose: This study aimed to compare performances of machine learning models using bio-clinical, conventional radiologic and 3D-radiomic features for the differentiation of benign and malignant solid renal tumors using pre-operative multiphasic contrast-enhanced CT examinations.
Materials And Methods: A unicentric retrospective analysis of prospectively acquired data from a national kidney cancer database was conducted between January 2016 and December 2020.
To evaluate indirect criteria of pelvic venous insufficiency (PVI) of a short tau inversion recovery (STIR) sequence retrospectively compared with phlebographic findings. Between 2008 and 2018, 164 women who had received MRI and phlebography for pelvic congestion syndrome (60), varicose veins in the lower limbs (45), both (43), or other symptoms (16) were included. The presence of periuterine varicosities and perivaginal varicosities were compared to the findings of phlebography: grading of left ovarian vein reflux and presence of internal pudendal or obturator leak.

Materials and Methods: A total of 26 patients were included, mean age of 52.3 years (range: 33−78 years), undergoing 32 TAE procedures between January 2012 and December 2019 were included in this retrospective study.

These conditions are also associated with ovarian and pelvic venous reflux and venous obstruction. This review aimed to explore the clinical and imaging modalities for diagnosing pelvic congestion syndrome, pelvic venous pathologies, their therapeutic management, and their outcomes.

Materials And Methods: This institutional review board-approved, single-centre, retrospective study included consecutive patients undergoing PAE from September 2017 to July 2020. Age, medical history, previous treatment, pre- and post-PAE prostatic volumes and International Prostate Symptom Scores (IPSSs) were systematically analysed.
Objective: A systematic review of clinical trials on thermal ablation of T1b RCC was conducted to assess oncologic outcomes of those procedures. The primary endpoint was the rate of local recurrence. Secondary endpoints included technical efficacy, progression to metastatic disease, cancer-specific mortality, complications and renal function decrease.
