This study investigated the potential of Porphyra derivatives (PD), including Porphyra334, to activate the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (NRF2) pathway in porcine oocytes to enhance oocyte competency and intracellular networks. Conventional methods for manipulating mitochondrial functions and antioxidant pathways often rely upon genetic modifications that are impractical for direct application in humans. We hypothesized that PD serves as a natural regulator of the NRF2 pathway without requiring genetic intervention.

The skin, as the body's largest organ, is vital for protecting against environmental stressors, regulating temperature, and preventing water loss. Here, we examined the potential of a mixture of five traditional Korean herbal extracts-, , , , and -referred to as herbal medicine composite 5 (HRMC5) for enhancing skin health and managing menopausal symptoms. Objectives: This study investigates the changing perceptions of Korean care workers regarding a robotic bed designed to assist with repositioning and prevent pressure ulcers. With the primary aim of assessing the technology acceptance among care workers using the robotic bed to solve the problem of a shortage of care workers in Korea, we sought to examine the possibility of applying care robots in the field.
Methods: A total of 20 long-term care workers participated in the experiment, and their attitudes were measured before and after using the robot.
(FR), a perennial flower of the Iris family (Iridaceae), is widely used in cosmetics despite limited scientific evidence of its skin benefits and chemical composition, particularly of FR callus extract (FCE). This study identified biologically active compounds in FCE and assessed their skin benefits, focusing on anti-aging. FR calli were cultured, extracted with water at 40 °C, and analyzed using Centrifugal Partition Chromatography (CPC), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), and HCA, revealing key compounds, namely nicotinamide and pyroglutamic acid.

Materials And Methods: Patients from 2000 to 2020 who received RT with conventional fractionation for recurrent or residual PMA were included. The patients were divided according to the type of tumor [functioning (fx) or non-fx] and the aim of RT (salvage RT alone, immediate postoperative RT, delayed postoperative RT).
Predicting dopamine agonist resistance in patients with macroprolactinoma is essential for clinicians to prevent treatment failure and subsequent complications such as medication-induced cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) rhinorrhea. We evaluated the features of patients with cabergoline resistance and CSF rhinorrhea in patients with prolactinomas with prolactin levels ≥1000 ng/mL.
